Our campsites provide a wonderful view of Somerset Lake where you will have the opportunity to fish, hike and enjoy the outdoors with family and friends.


We are constantly updating various campground infrastructure items and amenities to make your stay more enjoyable. Our mission is to provide you with a more pleasant and memorable experience.

Accessible off the PA Turnpike, Routes 219, 30 and 31 in Somerset County, Pennsylvania and bordering Somerset Lake, Woodland Campsites has an array of affordable wooded campsites to offer campers. Our facility is equipped with electric, water and sewer hookups and a sanitary disposal station. We also have clean restrooms, heated showers, flush toilets, a laundry and campfire pits.

In addition, our campsite is in the heart of the Laurel Highlands, a very attractive area for vacationers, recreational enthusiasts, those serious about fishing, biking, hiking, kayaking and canoeing. Stay at Woodland Campsites, have fun, relax, recreate and enjoy the outdoors with friends and family.

Woodlands Campsites offers many features.
This includes:
Fishing on Somerset Lake (PA Fishing License Required), Swimming Pool (free), Playground, Wooded Campsites, Pavilion & Rec. Room, Picnic Tables, Campfire Pits, Sanitary Disposal Station, Candy Store, Firewood and Ice

Planned activities are scheduled throughout the summer from Memorial Day through Labor Day.

2022 Rates include 2 adults/2 children per site, one vehicle and one RV. Additional guests are extra.

Seasonal is April 1st - Oct 31st and includes on-site storage of your unit.
The Campsite is closed from October 31st to April 1st.
Seasonal residents must contact the electric company and have a meter turned on in their name.

HOLDING TANK DISPOSAL
Guests $10.00 For guests only

Registered Campers are allowed to have guests visit, but if they want to use the recreational facilities, there is a $4.00 per person fee per day. They must abide by the rules and guidelines of the campground and must be out of the campground by 10 PM.

A discount is available for law enforcement officers, military personnel and veterans.

GUIDELINES

 In order to make your stay more enjoyable and safe, we have set a few guidelines for your convenience and safety. 
Refer to the map below for facility information and a camping site.

No bicycles after 7 PM. Bicycle helmets are suggested. PA law requires children 12 and under to wear helmets while riding bicycles.

Please park and leave vehicles at your campsite during your entire stay, except to go to or from outside of the park.

Motor bikes are permitted in the parking area only and to go from campsite to outside campground and back.

ATVs or golf carts are not permitted.

Parents must accompany children under 12. This includes the activities area, pool and playground.

Skateboards of any type, rollerblades, scooters, or roller skates are not permitted.

Washing of RVs or other vehicles in the park are not permitted.

Pets must be kept on a leash, quiet and attended to at all times. All current health records and licenses must accompany pets. No pets in any buildings, playground area or in the pool area. Owners are responsible for any injuries caused by any of their pets. No vicious breeds permitted. Please clean up after your pets. No pet swimming permitted.

Be considerate of other campers. Please do not walk or ride bicycles through other campsites. Controlled use of alcoholic beverages is permitted but restricted to your campsite only.

Quiet time is 11:00 PM. to 8:00 AM. Children under 18 must be at their campsite at this time unless escorted by an adult. To help with Quiet Hours, we ask that no more than six people are at any one site after 11:00 PM.

Absolutely no firearms or fireworks (includes July 4th) permitted in the park.

This is a privately owned campground. The campground owners and employees are not responsible for accidents or injuries to campers, guests or their property or the loss of valuables of any kind. WE RESERVE THE RIGHT to interpret and enforce all the Guidelines and Policies for the benefit, security and safety of all. Management reserves the right to dismiss any and all violators of Guidelines and Policies without refunds and to remove persons or animals which are considered detrimental to the health, safety and welfare of management or others using the campground and facilities. It is further agreed that any breach by the camper or camper’s guests or the Guidelines and Policies shall constitute grounds for immediate dismissal from the campground with no refund of fees. Photos, video and other media taken during your stay may be used for promotional pieces.

We want you to enjoy your stay at our campground. We are making every effort to ensure a safe environment. Feel free to let us know of any concerns you may have so we can address them.

Woodland Campsites is located in Somerset County, Pennsylvania. From the Pennsylvania Turnpike, take Route 601 North two miles to campground sign on your right. Turn right at the sign (Gilmour Road) and proceed 1/2 mile to the campground entrance on your right.
